The Imagine Music Network is creating a new genre of music. The best way to describe it would be to compare it to Christian Music, whereby there are several different styles of music all centered on the theme of Christianity. For example, Kirk Franklin performs Christian music in the genre of Hip Hop with upbeat Hip Hop sounds, feel and dancing, so at first blush he sounds almost like many other Hip Hop artists. However, when you listen to the lyrics, you realize he’s singing about Christ.
Similarly, the new genre we’re creating take lyrics into a new realm of possibilities and melds many aspects of developing yourself personally and music.
Music is a part of everyone’s lives around the world. Its role in life is many times under appreciated, especially as it relates to our emotions and moods. It’s proven that music can alter your mindset or mood and motivate you based on what you’re listening to. Music evolves in your life based on many factors, such as age and emotional growth. For example, when you’re in your teens, you may be listening to the most current artists of your time but later in life your tastes change, not just because you have but there are new artists and sounds. However, the artist(s) that connected with you emotionally during your youth or earlier in life never stops impacting your emotion...when you hear that music again.
